Branded codes that still scan every time
A logo in the middle makes a QR code look like it belongs to you, and people trust it more. Many generators charge for this or add their own watermark. Here it is free, and the code is a static one: your link is stored in the pattern, so it never expires.
Before you download, the code is scanned in your browser to make sure the logo has not broken it.
How to do it
- Paste your linkEnter the web address the code should open, for example your menu or booking page.
- Upload your logoOpen "Colors, logo and print quality" and click Upload logo. A square logo on a white or transparent background works best.
- Check the green testWe switch to 30% damage tolerance automatically so the code still scans with the logo covering part of it. If the test fails, use a smaller or simpler logo.
- Download PNG or PDFPNG for websites and social media, PDF for print shops. Test the printed code with two phones.
Why this code never expires
Everything is stored in the pattern itself. There is no short link and no server in between, so nobody can switch the code off, not even us. See how other generators do it.
Questions
Will a logo stop my QR code from scanning?
Not if the code has enough error correction. QR codes can lose up to 30% of their pattern and still scan, so we raise the damage tolerance to 30% whenever you add a logo, and test-scan the result in your browser.
What size should my logo be?
We size it to about a fifth of the code width, which is a safe amount. Simple, high-contrast logos scan best.
Is my logo uploaded anywhere?
No. The logo is placed into the code by your browser on your device and is never sent to us.
Can I change the colors too?
Yes. Keep the code dark and the background light, with strong contrast. We warn you if the colors might be hard to scan.
